About me Isabel, the architect of your wedding

I managed to turn my passion into my job. As a wedding planner based in Lausanne, in French-speaking Switzerland, I get to know your personalities so we can create the wedding that is truly yours.

My story

From dance to weddings

My first passion is belly dancing. As a dancer, I was often invited to perform at weddings, and I loved the atmosphere.

But arriving for ten minutes and leaving again frustrated me: I wanted to be more involved. I looked into the different wedding professions, and wedding planner fitted me like a glove: organisation, decoration, creativity.

Afraid of not being ready, I completed three training courses, from several countries, before taking the plunge. In events since 2013, I have devoted myself to weddings since 2019.

Based in Lausanne, I am happy to travel: I have already organised a wedding in Santorini.

The way I work

Three things I care about

  1. 01

    Your wedding, not mine

I take the time to get to know you so the wedding reflects who you are. And I remind you: it is your day, nobody gets to tell you what to do.

  2. 02

On the day, you do nothing

For me, peace of mind is priceless. On the day, you are the couple, and only the couple.

  3. 03

    Knowing when to say stop

To protect the rhythm of your day, I know how to say no to whatever would break it, and suggest another way.

My interview

Twenty-six minutes to get to know me

On the Wedding Talks programme (in French), I talk about my job and my tips: why not to hand big jobs to your loved ones, how to wrap up group photos in a quarter of an hour, and what I think of venues you have to decorate from A to Z.

For you, a wedding is a day in your life. For me, it is a working day: I know the pitfalls, and I know how to avoid them.
